Local boundaries and your plumbing visit
Ocala Water Resources publishes a separate route for reporting water leaks and describes responsibility for the public drinking-water and sanitary-sewage systems. Use that route for a suspected public-system issue; a plumbing assessment addresses the private fixture or line.
Prepare the actual utility, property access and repair boundary before choosing a plumbing assessment.

Separate the report from the repair
Record whether the problem affects an indoor fixture, a private yard line or visible public equipment. Describe the location to the actual supplier without operating a curb stop or meter. Ask the plumbing assessor what testing establishes the private repair boundary.
Compare investigation and restoration
For water behind a wall, ask what evidence justifies opening the finish, how the repair will be tested and who restores it. Keep the utility report reference separate from the work authorization.
Prepare the property and repair details
State Ocala, the full address and the fixture or equipment involved. Describe whether water is still escaping, whether one or several fixtures are affected and any safe isolation already performed. If you are unsure of the source, say so rather than repeating an assumed diagnosis.
- Explain entry, parking and any building-access restrictions.
- Identify the person who may authorize repairs.
- Have prior inspection notes or equipment photographs available.
Arrange the right assessment
Call with your full address and ask whether the business handles your fixture or equipment. Confirm the visit charge and who can authorize repairs in a shared building.
